Optimizing your conference attendance requires more than comfortable shoes!

It's almost conference time!

Each year my professional organization - NAPO - hosts a conference where organizers and productivity consultants get together and discuss what they do, how to grow, and where the industry is going. I've gone 6 times and always come away with new ideas and new connections.

But being ready for conference is about more than having comfortable shoes and business cards. To be on top of my game, I need all my digital organizing & productivity tools.

  • My iPad and Apple Pencil - Easier to carry and take notes on than a laptop

  • My phone - Of course

  • Evernote - Everything lives here, from my packing list to my session notes to my personal agenda. I'm speaking this year, so those notes are in Evernote as well.

  • NAPO Conference App - this one is always specific for each conference

  • LinkedIn - So I can quickly connect with my new friends and clients

  • Lyft - Someone's got to take me to those networking dinners!

Of course, I'll need Google Maps and Waze. This year's conference is in Long Beach, so I need to watch the traffic flow at the airport. And let's not forget, Rubio's is calling my name. Fish tacos for the win!

What apps are most important to you when you're out networking? What do you use to make sure you're staying in touch with the people you connect with?

Feel free to reach out and we can talk about fish tacos, digital organizing, or the best way to name your files (my speaking topic this year)!

Bonus question - Are there any other Rubio's fans out there? iykyk
